Product Overview:
This machine is designed for roll-forming metal strips into annular work-piece and flattening both ends of the formed ring to ensure optimal clamping performance during the subsequent butt-welding operation. The system comprises a stacking conveyor unit, vacuum suction feeding device, marking & roll-forming machine, and flattening unit, integrating automatic material retrieval, marking, roll-forming, and flattening functions to achieve high-efficiency continuous production.
Stacking Conveyor Unit: Driven by a reducer through chain transmission, this unit ensures stable strip conveying with a maximum storage capacity of three stacks, meeting batch production requirements.
Vacuum Suction Feeding Device: Utilizing electromagnetic suction cups, this device precisely grips individual strips and transfers them to the feeding roller table, ensuring no double-feeding or dropping incidents while maintaining smooth and reliable transfer operations.
Feeding & Centering Mechanism: The strip is centered and positioned by the alignment mechanism on the feeding roller table before being conveyed to the marking unit. As the strip passes through the marking device, automatic marking is performed; this function can be enabled or disabled via selector switch in the control program. Marking position and depth are adjustable according to actual requirements.
Coiler: Consists of main frame, spindle drive mechanism, three-roll forming unit, and two-roll feeding mechanism. The main frame is a high-strength welded structure with a front-mounted feeding platform. The strip enters the three-roll forming unit through two feed rollers. In this unit, the bottom roll is fixed, with an adjustable side guide roller mounted laterally for diameter adjustment, working in conjunction with two upper rolls for curvature control. The rim opening size, radial and axial misalignment are adjustable to meet butt-welding process requirements.
Flattening Unit:Composed of frame, pressing mechanism, and die set, mounted at the front end of the roll-forming machine and driven by hydraulic cylinders.
Technical Features:
1.Material accumulator capable of storing three stacks of strips, enhancing production efficiency;
2.Optional vacuum suction feeding device for automatic material retrieval from accumulator;
3.Optional marking device for imprinting required marks on strips with adjustable marking pressure;
4.Quick adjustment of roll-formed opening size, radial and axial misalignment via hand wheel to meet butt-welding process requirements;
5.Unattended operation capability.
