Product Overview

This machine enables automated pre-assembly of rim and disc (spider) for steel wheel fabrication, particularly suitable for scenarios where discs are transported to the assembly station via pallets. The equipment mainly consists of a disc loading rotary station, disc gripping mechanism, rim clamping & feeding mechanism, pre-assembly vacuum suction device, pneumatic system, and electrical system. Configured with robots and an automated clinching & welding integration system, the machine achieves automated operation from pre-assembly through to fusion welding.

 

Process Flow:

Disc Loading Rotary Station:The structural design facilitates easy product changeover. Utilizing a servo motor and reducer drive system, the rotation accuracy is precise and reliable, ensuring disc bolt hole positioning accuracy of 0.05°. Disc Gripping Mechanism:Driven by servo motor through synchronous belt transmission, with locating pins at disc contact points for collision-free loading. Rim Clamping & Feeding Mechanism:Servo motor controlled, ensuring rim center positioning accuracy of 0.05 mm. Pre-Assembly Vacuum Suction Device:Equipped with adjustable scales for convenient product switching. Integrated error-correction function accurately identifies the valve hole. Driven by servo motor rotation, ensuring rim valve hole positioning accuracy of 0.05°.

 

The disc-to-rim press-in stroke is adjustable with scale indication. After pre-assembly, the relative angular deviation between the rim valve hole and disc bolt holes/ventilation holes is strictly controlled within 0°±1° tolerance. The positional deviation of the rim valve hole and corresponding bolt holes from the fusion welding platform to the designated welding point does not exceed ±1 mm. Furthermore, the "three-hole alignment" (valve hole and two bolt holes in one line) of the assembled wheel is equipped with detection and error-correction function. Once deviation beyond tolerance is detected, the machine stops to allow timely manual intervention by the operator.
