Product Overview:
The roll former set comprises three units, corresponding to three successive roll-forming operations after flaring. Each machine consists of frame, upper and lower arms with main spindles, side guide devices, drive system, hydraulic system, lubrication system, roller conveyor, and automatic loading/unloading device.
The frame is constructed from high-quality steel plate with welded fabrication, stress-relieved by annealing to achieve optimal rigidity, strength, and precision.
The main spindle can be driven by electric motor, controlled by a high-performance frequency inverter, and connected to the spindle through a gearbox and universal joint. During no-load operation, spindle speed is controllable with minimal torque. To ensure identical linear velocity of the die acting on the work piece, only the lower spindle speed requires adjustment—the upper spindle automatically follows.
The main spindle is precision-machined from specially treated alloy steel with high fatigue strength, featuring three-dimensional adjustment capabilities: vertical, angular, and longitudinal. The vertical movement of the lower spindle is driven by a hydraulic cylinder, executed in two stages: first, rapid approach; second, slow feed forming. The rapid approach speed is constant, while the slow feed speed is adjustable as required. The transition point between rapid approach and slow feed is controlled by mechanical means.
The side guide device is located on both left and right sides of the upper spindle, locking the work piece axial position during roll-forming and ensuring the rim center always remains below the die center. The side guide device adopts a dual guide rod structure with the cylinder positioned between the two guide rods. The latest generation guide roller bracket assembly is employed, with guide roller working pressure, height, and longitudinal position adjustable as required.
The main spindle bearings utilize forced thin-film lubrication, equipped with double-lip oil seals and an independent lubrication pump; the lubrication system includes a cooling device. Roll-forming dies are cooled by emulsion during the forming process, effectively reducing die wear from the work piece.
